We strive to foster a collaborative process in which you’re very involved with your finished product. By walking through each detail during a Pre-Session consultation, from the setting for your shoot to thoughts on wardrobe, we will address your specific needs and provide suitable options. You’ll always walk away with your questions answered.
During your Family Session you can expect a relaxed environment where we'll capture your family just as you are. From being goofy and spontaneous to classic and sophisticated; together we will produce amazing photography that you will be proud to display in your home. The location of your session will be based on your needs. We can meet at a park, a lake or a wide open field for beautiful outdoor images. Our natural light studio serves as a perfect, warm environment in which newborns can kick back and relax for their first modeling shoot. We also offer a fun, prop-filled area for older children to play, watch cartoons and enjoy snacks. Snacks low in sugar, of course!
We will schedule your Ordering Session 5-7 days after your Family Session. This is the most fun! Together we’ll view your images in a gorgeous slideshow (tissues provided for this portion.) We’ll then look at possible wall collection designs so you can see, not just imagine, how your memories will be displayed on the walls of your very own home. Clients love this feature because it completely removes the guessing game before placing your order. Never again will you wonder “Is this wall collection too large? Do these images look perfect hanging together? Does the color of our clothes flow with the color scheme of our family room?” You’ll see for yourself before you place your order! Seriously…how easy is that?
A session fee of $200 is due upon booking your appointment. Please contact the studio to learn more about our stunning product mix and pricing.
Referrals make the world go round! That…and love, of course. The referral program we offer is driven by a passion for giving back. For each friend referred, you’ll receive a $50 print credit to Mel Marie Photography. When you make your 5th referral a $250 donation will be made on your behalf to the charity, non-profit organization, school or church of your choice. In addition, you'll also receive a custom designed 5x7 image box and 12 gift prints of your choice from a future session. You read it right…that’s a $250 donation on your behalf to the organization of your choice, a $250 print credit to Mel Marie Photography and a gorgeous, custom designed image box with your choice of 12 gift prints!
Q: Melissa, why is your tag line "Capturing your moments. Creating your memories?"
A: Because I want to help you capture the moments with your family that are significant and simply cannot be recreated. And together we will create memories for your children to reminisce upon years from now. Memories of their smiling faces hanging on the walls of their home as they grew up. And memories of giving back to those less fortunate when they help you choose which organization to donate to. My mission for every session is to create this experience for you…and with you. Together, we can develop a fulfilling experience for your family, your home and your community. I look forward to working with you!
For your convenience, below are our studio policies:
- Your $200 session fee is due upon booking your session and is non-refundable. This includes a 1-2 hour session with Melissa and up to 6 people.
- Please be prepared to schedule a 1 hour ordering session at our studio 5-7 days after your session. This session will take place Tuesday-Friday between the hours of 8:00-4:00. You will be placing your order at this time so it is very important that all decision makers are present. We suggest you arrange for a babysitter for small children.
- If you need to reschedule your appointment please contact the studio at least 48 hours in advance. Your session fee will be applied to your rescheduled session only if booked within three months of your original appointment.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Non-ordered images will be held for an additional 30 days after your session date. All ordered images will be archived for your safe keeping at no additional fee. After 30 days, non-ordered images will be discarded.
- 8.25% Texas sales tax is applicable on all orders unless shipped outside of Texas.
- The customer will be charged shipping and handling if any items are shipped. Otherwise, an appointment will be made for orders to be picked up at the studio.
- Please allow 4-6 weeks for your order to be processed.
- Due to the personalized nature of this business, all orders are non-refundable once full or partial payment is received.
- All images remain the property of Mel Marie Photography and are protected by federal copyright laws. Copying of any kind without permission is strictly prohibited.
