Studio Policies

Thank you for your understanding and consideration regarding our studio policies.  Please let us know if you have any questions.  We’re always just a phone call or email away!

  • Your session fee is due upon booking and is non-refundable.  Please request a quote for more than 6 people.
  • Please be prepared to schedule a 1 hour ordering session at our studio 5-7 days after your session.  You will be placing your order at this time so it is very important that all decision makers are present.  We kindly suggest you arrange for a babysitter for small children.
  • If you need to reschedule your appointment please contact the studio at least 24 hours in advance.  Your session fee will be applied to your rescheduled session only if booked within three months of your original appointment.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Thank you for not using cameras (including smart phones) during your portrait session.
  • Non-ordered images will be held for an additional 30 days after your session date.  All ordered images will be archived for your safe keeping.  After 30 days, non-ordered images will be discarded.
  •  8.25% Texas sales tax is applicable on all orders unless shipped outside of Texas.
  • The client will be charged shipping and handling if any items are shipped.  Otherwise, an appointment will be made for orders to be picked up at the studio.
  • Please allow 4-6 weeks for your order to be processed.
  • Due to the personalized nature of this business, all orders are non-refundable once full or partial payment is received.
  • All images remain the property of Mel Marie Photography and are protected by federal copyright laws.  Copying of any kind without permission is strictly prohibited.
